Clodagh's homebaking

Yesterday at the Basketmaking session, we were treated to the most amazing scones. I will never be able to eat scones again without comparing them to Clodagh's home made scones. She made bread too (not in the photos) perfect brown seeded bread (by perfect I mean, shape, flavour, texture) that we liberally spread butter, cheese or cold meat on.

When we finished the savoury, we had these beauties to devour, lemon drizzle and orange drizzle maderias, and carrot cakes like you have never tasted before.

Thank you Clodagh, your food shared with the Crafters added to the joy of the day. To see the beautiful baskets created by the Crafters click here

The day was very special, ten women, crafting, sharing food, stories, ideas, and most of all laughing and having fun.

(I am going to have the remaining cakes now for my sunday breakfast.)

Happy Sunday morning everyone.

Big hugs,

Margie

How is Clodagh's name pronounced? I just found out how to pronounce Siobhan and now this name. It's intriguing! Oh I'd love to join you for some of this delicious sounding fare.
