Turville

The house where the Vicar of Dibley lives, the show is filmed in Turville a village a few miles from Henley. We had lunch in the Bull and Butcher today. Great food in a wonderful country pub.

I tried out the local phone booth but it did not accept coins.

The wind mill on the hill in Turville is clearly visible from the Pub.

We sampled the great wines at Domaine De Rombeau and enjoyed the attenion our host, Pierre Henri, lavished on us.

The picnics were a very colourful affair, with local wine, cider, cheese and of course baguette and flute longue. The days were sunny and filled with relaxing, swimming, eating and drinking with the evenings full of song and dance.
