I am still enjoying the spring time even though it is raining. The wreaths are all hung up, the feather boas and chicken decorations out and I even had time to visit Easter bunny to discuss the Egg hunt for this year....
Leiny and I have been enjoying long Sunday breakfasts (and Mr. Margie joins us when he is not cycling) and are looking forward to Mel and Chris joining us for Easter weekend.
Meanwhile the hens are working overtime and providing us with beautiful eggs each day. I have been spring cleaning and crafting for the last few weekends, but more about that in my next post.

It's always nice how just at Easter the hens seem to go into overdrive! We are getting 9-10 eggs a day from 14 hens.

Your Easter wreath is charming!!! And how fortunate you are to have those fresh eggs! Hubby and I want to have chickens again (we both had them as children)... but we have to make sure whatever we do is coyote-proof (they are even coming out in broad daylight to snatch little animals)... let alone the foxes! =O

Long Sunday breakfasts sounds like bliss. Cant wait for my girls to be old enough to appriciate that kind of thing.
