A friend of mine and I were chatting last weekend and lamenting over the fact we don't have fresh chicken eggs! I'd love to have chickens again. When I was little we had 12 of them, and I so loved taking the eggs from under their warm, downy feathers (the chickens didn't like that very much though)! =)
Beautiful pictures! Our hens are laying too! Such a delight, those bright orange yolks!
I just love the multi coloured egg wreath. So very pretty. Lovely display on your mantle as well. Thanks for sharing! hope you have a lovely weekend.MBBx
Signs of Spring! I love it. Fresh eggs, that makes me want to bake a cake.
Hi Margie!!! Love the Spring atmosphere on your blog! Your egg-wreath is gorgeous!Have a nice weekend!
Oh I keep thinking about raising hens, but it would be a challenge in the town zone I'm in. On the other hand, John could have chickens at the ponderosa. I'm just afraid that a coy dog could have them, too. What lovely decorations and how pretty all the feathers and eggs are.
Oh Margie it's been far too long since I visited and I just adored the images you shared! Your life is like another world sometimes, what a treasure it would be to go out and collect eggs each morning, ahh!Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you're doing well.Hugs♥Sharon
