Post chemo travel

Mr Margie and I left Ireland on Friday 13th, driving my Land Rover Discovery with Leiny's Morris Minor on a car trailer.

We spent a few days in Henley-on-Thames with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren. They had a beautiful welcome for us.

On Father's Day we all took a boat trip on the river with Lein and Duane joining us on Saturday night.

I had lots of hugs and kisses from Isla and Esmé.

Mr Margie and Chris delivered the Morris Minor to Rommeij and Rikki's to prepare it for importing. Rommeij's website Girl in the Palace is just beautiful, her styling and dress sense is not just on trend but setting trends in London.
Mr Margie and I left the UK yesterday via the Channel tunnel, I drove the Discovery for over one hundred miles to "le shuttle". Driving through Dunkirk and up the coast to Antwerp, where we spent a few hours with Mr Margie's mum.

Finally after a long day of travelling we arrived at our B and B, "De Beuk" in Schoten, where we were made feel at home in the Monet suite, a very comfortable bedroom with bathroom and shower room for our exclusive use.

The attentive " Eigenares" took us on a walk around her magnificent garden after a wonderful Belgian breakfast.

A spot of shopping in Wilrijk before lunch was flowed by a picnic lunch before we spent the afternoon in the Museum aan de Stroom. The views over the city were fantastic and the exhibits were outstanding.

Tomorrow we will drive back along the coast to France to Giverny. Any guesses where we will visit?
Big hugs,
Love Margie ❤️
