Rhubarb Crumble

Leiny and I harvested the rhubarb yesterday, this was the best year yet with lots of pinky stalks perfect for baking.

Leiny and Rommeij made the Nigella Lawson Rhubarb Crumble (recipe here) for dessert last night, served with custard and ice cream. Result: ten totally satisfied diners.

I am joining in at My Romantic Home's Show and Tell Friday, do pop over and see all the Easter preparations from 100's of blogs.

Happy Easter

Big hugs,

Margie

Yuuuuummmmmmm - Margie, I love rhubarb crumble (rhubard anything, for that matter!). I only planted mine last year, so this year will be the first time eating it, and I'll make it for my stepmother's birthday on Sunday. Must take pics before it's eaten!

Your garden is looking beautiful.

Hi Margie! I've to confess I've never eaten rhubarb! My mom doesn't like it, I think that's why!
But I love the big leaves and the beautiful colored stems.
Wishing you a lovely Easter!

Hmmmm, wonder if my rhubarb will ever get large enough to harvest for such a dessert... A wonderful Easter to you and yours, Margie.
