Dreams come true

Poor cinderella was not able to go to the ball, she stayed at home cleaning all alone, she did not have a beautiful dress, her tears ran down her face.

Then her fairy god mother waved her magic wand and cinderella was wearing a beautiful dress and on her way to meet the prince.

This is a reversible doll made by Brenda for Mel and Lein fifteen years ago.

Dreams come true in fairytales and also in real life. Change has come. Congratulations to the people of the USA who voted for their new president. Inspiration for all of us who work in the area of social change.
Dreams can come true.

Oh thank you for visiting me, I am going to link your blog to my favorites. I love your dolls and I love your sentiments. I do feel so hopeful today, something that I haven't felt about our government in quite some time. I can't wait to browse through your blog.

I love your doll, Margie. I sometimes feel that our children of today are missing out on the real magic of childhood, when I see the toys that are about for today's children.

Best wishes ((hug))

Karen welcome to my blog, I love the global nature of blogland, I keep referring to it as a community. As our governments increasingly make global decisions it is important for us to link up also. Hope you enjoy my blog.

Annie, isnt it a great day to think about values and future generations. hugs.

The doll was made by a dear friend Brenda who passed away two years ago. Cinderellas ball dress is made from left over material that Brenda used in her own wedding jacket.

Thanks to you both for your comments. Margie

The doll is so cute! Yes, I am very happy the election is over and our country can move FORWARD for a change!

Thank you for the nice comments. I've added you to my blog list, also. Today is very rainy and dreary, but I love these days for knitting and spinning!

Hi Sabina, Beachy, Deborah and /Lotta, thank you for visiting my blog and for the comments on Brenda's doll. Both my daughters have checked out the photos here and we had a great chat about the doll. Very nostalgic. Have a great weekend. Margie.

Hello Margie! Thank you for your compliments! =) I bought a Canon PowerShot (the cheapest model actually). I am having so much fun with it, I may give it to my teenage son and go up to the next level Canon. =) I highly recommend the brand. Nikons are also excellent - my Dad uses one of those.
