I just love eggs, feathers and chickens.

At this time of year the chickens are laying

it is a joy to collect the eggs each morning.

I hope you enjoy this selection of the 'best of' egg photos from my home and garden.

  1. A friend of mine and I were chatting last weekend and lamenting over the fact we don't have fresh chicken eggs! I'd love to have chickens again. When I was little we had 12 of them, and I so loved taking the eggs from under their warm, downy feathers (the chickens didn't like that very much though)! =)

  6. Oh I keep thinking about raising hens, but it would be a challenge in the town zone I'm in. On the other hand, John could have chickens at the ponderosa. I'm just afraid that a coy dog could have them, too.

What lovely decorations and how pretty all the feathers and eggs are.
